Important bugs solved in 3.4.1 release include:

• Bug #1165: set correct state value for unknown state for vmm/poll
• Bug #1211: XEN shutdown script needs revisiting
• Bug #1043: Prevent VNC dialog from closing with ESC key in Sunstone and SelfService
• Bug #834: When a group is deleted, ACL rules that match ' /@gid __' are cleaned. When Users or Groups are deleted, their ACL rules are also dropped
• Bug #1237: Disable the cache name index for the VM pool
• Bug #1239: xpath.rb doesn't work with ruby 1.9.2p0
• Bug #1233: Change onecluster list VNETS column. Fix onecluster list output Fix TM column in onedatastore
• Feature #1186: Added porturguese (pt_PT) to Sunstone.
• Feature #1187: French translations for Sunstone (fr_CA and fr_FR) (Nicolas Agius)
• Add ozones-server.error and sunstone.error paths for system wide
• Fix sunstone monitoring for oneadmin
• Bug #1220: Fix image raw template submission in sunstone for 3.4 and master
• Clean compile on Mac OS X (Neil Pennell)

OpenNebula 3.4.1 is totally compatible with OpenNebula 3.4. To upgrade from OpenNebula 3.4 simply upgrade the system with the onedb tool.

OpenNebula 3.4.1 is API compatible with OpenNebula 3.x, so you should expect that applications and drivers developed for 3.x work with this release, with the exception of custom authentication drivers.

Also there have been changes in the Image Repository (now Datastore) and Transfer drivers. The protocol and command structure has been preserved, although some minor adaptations are needed to port existing TM or Image Repository drivers (more details here).
